Learn More About Tiny Houses in Montego Bay Jamaica

tiny house expo in jamaica

Join us in Montego Bay, Jamaica in June to learn more about tiny houses!

Come and learn more about tiny houses in Montego Bay Jamaica!

We are honored to have been invited by the team at the Build Expo & Conference to come and present on June 9-11, 2017 on the topic of tiny houses. Tiny houses, when designed and built well, can provide a beautiful, safe, affordable, and long term housing solution for people around the globe. It’s wonderful to see these homes become increasingly popular not only in the US and Canada, but also in many other countries and continents as well.

The Jamaica Build Expo & Conference will take place at the Montego Bay Convention Center and will focus on innovations in housing and construction. With over 300 businesses/vendors in attendance as well as a solid group of leaders in the field of housing and construction presenting (Andrew included), this event will be an opportunity for advancing ideas and technologies.

We are thrilled that the Caribbean region is looking at tiny houses as one of their housing solutions and honored to share what we have learned about tiny house construction and the tiny house movement here in mainland USA. We hope you’ll be able to join us at this groundbreaking event!

Hi Gabriella, so glad you are having this conference in Jamaica and the tiny home idea is growing in the Caribbean. My partner and I have been talking for quite some time about building an off-grid, affordable small home on our farm in the mountain in St Kitts. Bringing up concrete blocks up that hill would be wuite a challenge. We’ll have to collect rainwater and produce our own energy and have a compost toilett. Winds can get strong and we get heavy rains from time to time, and we have termites 😉 We need a funding scheme to pay back monthly instead of our current rent. Woudl be great to hear from you. Hi Elisabeth! Your vision sounds great! Good thing is that in building a tiny house, it would be a LOT less concrete blocks than if it was a standard sized home! 😉 Do you have any other alternative building materials available to you there?

Hi I love that this is taking off in the Carribean. I’m from Haiti but I’d eventually want to go back but building a traditional home is quite expensive. Also there’s that whole thing about land ownership. I’ve lived in the U.S most of my life but I’d love to learn more about how things are when it comes to designing and constructing a tiny home.

Howdy, I think your website could be having web browser compatibility issues. When I look at your website in Safari, it looks fine however when opening in I.E., it’s got some overlapping issues. I just wanted to give you a quick heads up! Other than that, excellent website!

With havin so much written content do you ever run into any issues of plagorism or copyright violation? My blog has a lot of unique content I’ve either authored myself or outsourced but it appears a lot of it is popping it up all over the internet without my authorization. Do you know any methods to help stop content from being ripped off? I’d certainly appreciate it.

I discovered more interesting things on this weight reduction issue. A single issue is that good nutrition is especially vital when dieting. An enormous reduction in junk food, sugary ingredients, fried foods, sweet foods, red meat, and white flour products can be necessary. Keeping wastes unwanted organisms, and harmful toxins may prevent desired goals for losing fat. While selected drugs in the short term solve the condition, the nasty side effects are not worth it, and so they never give more than a non permanent solution. It is a known undeniable fact that 95 of dietary fads fail. Many thanks for sharing your opinions on this site.
