We are just a day and a half from the start of the world’s largest tiny house gathering ever…the Tiny House Jamboree! Over 10,000 people have registered, over 105 confirmed on bringing their own tiny house (including an EcoCabins 28′ hOMe model fresh off the shelves), 14 countries represented, and all 50 states will have at least one of their residents in attendance!

Andrew will be giving a presentation on Saturday called “Create Your Own Freedom” in which he’ll be giving tools and techniques on how one can create their dream career while following their passion. Having been self employed since 2004 and achieving a level of financial success as well as a balanced life full of amazing experiences, people, and relationships, he has learned a thing or two about how to create one’s own freedom.

There is an incredible list of other presenters as well: Jay Shafer, Deek Diecricksen, Zack Giffin, Alek Lisefski, BA Norrgard, Andrew Odom, Vina Lustado, Lee Pera, Darin Zaruba, Michelle Boyle, Kai Rostcheck, Byron Fears, Lina Menard, Gary Bute, Craig McHugh, Molly Orrendorf, Shelley & Joshua (who’s hOMe inspired tiny house was featured on a Tiny House Nation episode), Lora Higgins, Vera Struck, and Damon Deschamps.

Dozens of vendors will be there too with tiny house specific solutions, ideas, and products for all tiny house fans. There will be drawings, give aways, food, and live music all in a beautiful setting in Colorado Springs! Best part is…it’s FREE!!!

We fly out first thing tomorrow morning from Medford and will hopefully see you sometime between Friday-Sunday! If you haven’t signed up yet but would like to, here is their website: www.tinyhousejamboree.com.

See you there!!

I hope the jamboree is streaming for those of us on the East coast who can’t attend. Your house was the first design we found when we started our research on downsizing and I’ve seen hundreds on the Internet and it continues to be our favorite.

Some of us aren’t able to make it this year. Is there a hashtag that’s being used that we can watch for on Social Media?

Just found you, too late for Jamboree.
Do you have potential builders from all over, did I read 50 countries? I am thrilled.

I have realized that over the course of developing a relationship with real estate homeowners, you’ll be able to get them to understand that, in most real estate deal, a commission rate is paid. Eventually, FSBO sellers don’t “save” the payment. Rather, they fight to earn the commission by way of doing the agent’s occupation. In completing this task, they invest their money as well as time to carry out, as best they could, the obligations of an realtor. Those responsibilities include revealing the home by marketing, introducing the home to willing buyers, making a sense of buyer emergency in order to induce an offer, arranging home inspections, handling qualification checks with the financial institution, supervising maintenance, and facilitating the closing.
